We have wonderful news to share. Thanks to your generous support, Middle East Media has officially launched a brand-new video studio in North Africa!
For years, our teams have faced the challenge of finding safe and suitable places to film interviews, live-action productions and short social media videos. Now, with this dedicated space, we can create content that boldly shares the message of Jesus Christ across the Middle East. Already, our staff are brimming with ideas and plans to use this studio, which has multiple rooms, to its fullest potential.

Creating Apologetics Videos in Our New Studio
In our Spring MEMO we wrote about a powerful new series called Strengths, exploring Christian apologetics. This new studio will be central to bringing that vision to life, providing the ideal space to film this series.
Why These Videos Are So Important
Over the last five years, we’ve seen an alarming rise in online attacks against Christianity in the Middle East. Mocking videos, distorted claims and direct challenges to God’s Word have led many to dismiss Christianity and even caused doubt among Christians.
While Middle Eastern theologians and church leaders have tried to engage online, their voices rarely reach beyond the Christian community. Strengths is designed to do just that; meet young people on social media with thoughtful, entertaining and compelling answers to their doubts.
What’s Coming
The first season will feature 12 episodes, each around 30 minutes long. Through documentary-style filmmaking, we’ll explore pressing questions with the help of Christian leaders from different denominations, prominent thinkers, psychologists, scholars and everyday people wrestling with their faith. Each episode will address a theme that has been mocked online, like God having a human son. The aim is that each episode will be viewed by millions of people, show that the so-called “weaknesses” of Christianity are actually Strengths and lead people to Jesus.
When a group of supporters and staff visited our North Africa offices this May, they got a first glimpse of the studio. Matt Hinch from MEM UK & Europe shared:
As the audio/visual person at my church in Coventry, I work quite a lot with production and technology. When I visited the office with our group of supporters in May, I was really impressed by our new studio. The level of professionalism in how it’s been set up is exciting. I can’t wait to see the programmes it will be used to create.
Why This Studio Matters
This new professional space is far more than just lights and cameras – it’s a place of safety, creativity and bold witness. It will allow us to produce content that speaks honestly to the questions Middle Easterners are asking, all while proclaiming the unstoppable hope of Jesus Christ.
