A Vision for Digital Gospel Outreach
Yemen has historically been a crossroads for trade, culture, and religion. Despite decades of hardship, Yemeni identity remains deeply tied to family, tribal connections and Islamic faith.
For over a decade Yemen has been gripped by a devastating civil war and humanitarian crisis. Conflict, famine, and the collapse of infrastructure has displaced millions. The United Nations has called the situation in Yemen the world’s worst humanitarian crisis. Over 4.5 million Yemenis are internally displaced, while many others have sought refuge in neighbouring countries, including Egypt.
Among these refugees are Yemeni believers. This growing group represents a seed of hope for both the displaced and those still in Yemen.
Despite hardship, the digital age has opened unprecedented doors. Mobile phones and internet access – even in war zones and refugee settlements – allow the gospel to travel where humans cannot.

This is a critical moment and we have the opportunity to invest in and equip Yemeni believers living in Egypt to:
- Produce digital media and communications.
- Develop contextual, culturally sensitive gospel content in Yemeni dialects.
- Use online platforms – social media, audio/video, websites, messaging apps – to share the hope of Christ.
- Disciple new believers through virtual communities and digital Bible studies.
- Create bridges back into Yemen – reaching hearts and homes across borders.
This initiative would not only empower believers to reach their fellow Yemenis in Egypt, but also extend gospel witness into the heart of Yemen – where public evangelism is impossible.
Now is the time to act. Amid devastation, God is moving.
Will you stand with us in raising up Yemeni digital media missionaries – voices of light among their people?
Please join us in praying:
- For the new Yemeni group that we’ll be working with – we pray this process will be nurturing for both our staff and the Yemeni believers.
- For the future vision of this group – that they seek God in all they do.
- For the impact of his group – we pray that their work would start a revival of believers in Yemen, paving the way for long-term peace and prosperity for the county.
